Question by ketchupachup: Pigma Micron Pens ; Ever used it on wood ?
Does the ink bleed if you use the pen on wood ?
On Plywood particularly? if not, does it not bleed on a particular wood ??
Or should i sand it first ? will that stop the ink from bleeding ?

I do not have any Pigma pens but I have a similar brand. On natural wood surfaces they don’t bleed, but I’d advise sanding first or you’ll wear the nid on it down quickly. I can’t see why plywood would make any difference, it’s made of soft pine mostly.

I used them to make wooden Christmas ornaments one year. It helps to sand down to the finest sandpaper until the wood is really (that’s REALLY) smooth. I didn’t have any problem with bleeding. It’s always a good idea before you invest the money and time to test a pen with a small piece of the wood you’re going to use.
